Anatomy of the Woman's costume:
Embroidery - 3 designs were chosen for blouses and aprons.
The cross-stitch was done with solid cotton floss.
The crewel was done with variegated cotton floss.

Blouse/Chemise - The blouse was made from light weight cotton.
Vest - The woman's vest was made from maroon velveteen, lined with white satin, and trimmed with gold braid and sequins.

Apron - The apron was made from a loosely woven black wool blend. It is lined with a light weight acetate. Black lace around the edges and a casing at the top for a drawstring tie.
Belt - The women's belts were woven on an inkle loom with cotton yarns.
Skirt - The skirt is of Pendleton wool with stripes.)
