| Zivio performs every spring at Dayton’s annual international festival: A World A’Fair. Each year one of the former republics of Yugoslavia (Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia) or Bulgaria is highlighted. We typically spend at least four months rehearsing for the festival, and wear costumes authentic to the region. Zivio members sometimes sing and play approproiate folk instruments. We offer instructions for kids, who also perform at A World A'Fair. Zivio members, along with other South Slavic Club members, work in our booth selling food, beverages, and pastries, which helps fund the organization’s activities. |
